differentialgeometrygroupoidsmanifolds

Let M and M′ be manifolds of order n over the same model with corners. For a specified homeomorphism e between them, there exists a structomorphism for the order-n differentiability groupoid with underlying homeomorphism exactly e if and only if e and its inverse are both differentiable to order n.

What the Lean code literally says, in plain math · Codex independent blind auditor; exact model identifier unavailable

Let k\mathbb kk be any nontrivially normed field, let EEE be a normed additive commutative group with a normed k\mathbb kk-vector-space structure, let HHH be a topological space, and let III be a model with corners from HHH to EEE: its forward map is a continuous embedding defined on all of HHH, its inverse is a continuous total map E→HE\to HE→H inverse on the range, and its range has nonempty interior; that range is convex over the induced real scalars when k\mathbb kk has a compatible real- or complex-field structure, and is all of EEE otherwise. Let nnn be any nonnegative integer, ∞\infty∞, or ω\omegaω, denoting respectively finite differentiability order, smoothness, or analyticity, and let M,M′M,M'M,M′ be topological spaces with chosen atlases and preferred local charts into HHH, both satisfying the CnC^nCn manifold compatibility condition for III. Here that compatibility means every atlas transition ψ\psiψ and its inverse become CnC^nCn in EEE after conjugation by III, on I(source⁡ψ)I(\operatorname{source}\psi)I(sourceψ) and I(target⁡ψ)I(\operatorname{target}\psi)I(targetψ) respectively. For every homeomorphism e:M→M′e:M\to M'e:M→M′, there exists a homeomorphism h:M→M′h:M\to M'h:M→M′ equipped with the property that every partial coordinate expression c′∘h∘c−1c'\circ h\circ c^{-1}c′∘h∘c−1, for atlas charts c,c′c,c'c,c′ on M,M′M,M'M,M′, and its inverse become CnC^nCn after conjugation by III on their respective model-coordinate domains, and whose underlying homeomorphism is exactly eee, if and only if both eee and e−1e^{-1}e−1 are CnC^nCn manifold maps relative to III. For a map fff in either direction, the latter condition means that, at every point xxx in its domain, fff is continuous at xxx and κf(x)∘f∘κx−1\kappa_{f(x)}\circ f\circ\kappa_x^{-1}κf(x)∘f∘κx−1 is CnC^nCn at κx(x)\kappa_x(x)κx(x) within I(H)I(H)I(H), where each κ\kappaκ is the corresponding preferred chart followed by III. The existential assertion requires existence, with no uniqueness assertion. It includes n=0n=0n=0, empty coordinate overlaps, and empty spaces; an empty space forces both spaces to be empty because eee is a homeomorphism. Neither finite-dimensionality nor completeness of EEE is assumed.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
