Put T0=3.29×109T_0=3.29\times10^9T0=3.29×109 and let η0\eta_0η0 be Tao's logarithmic triangular cutoff, supported on [1/4,1][1/4,1][1/4,1]. For every real y≥4000y\ge4000y≥4000 and ∣θ∣≤T0/(4πy)|\theta|\le T_0/(4\pi y)∣θ∣≤T0/(4πy), the modulus-one von Mangoldt sum satisfies

∣Sη0,1(y,θ)−y∫Rη0(t)e(θyt) dt∣≤(252+256log⁡2)log⁡T03T0y+4.02×1010y.\left|S_{\eta_0,1}(y,\theta)-y\int_{\mathbb R}\eta_0(t)e(\theta yt)\,dt\right|\le \frac{(252+256\log2)\log T_0}{3T_0}y+4.02\times10^{10}\sqrt y.Sη0,1(y,θ)−y∫Rη0(t)e(θyt)dt≤3T0(252+256log2)logT0y+4.02×1010y.

This is the explicit analytic input before the large-scale numerical specialization in Section 8. The constants retain ∥η0∥1=1\|\eta_0\|_1=1∥η0∥1=1, ∥η0′∥1=8log⁡2\|\eta_0'\|_1=8\log2∥η0′∥1=8log2, and total variation ∥D2η0∥=48\|D^2\eta_0\|=48∥D2η0∥=48, together with the verified-height zero count N(T0)≤1010N(T_0)\le10^{10}N(T0)≤1010. The theorem includes the verification-height input and the limiting argument extending the smooth Proposition 7.2 to this literal nonsmooth cutoff. In particular, the smooth proposition alone is not a proof. The coefficient 252+256log⁡2252+256\log2252+256log2 is retained exactly; the printed subsequent comparison with 330330330 is not used.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
