Unconditional BV generator harmonicity of the optimal-barrier value
ProvedAvramDividend.Classical.generator_vcstar_eq_zero_bv_unconditional_20261026avram-classicalbounded-variationgenerator-harmonicityoptimal-dividends
For a spectrally negative Lévy process satisfying the standing conditions and bounded variation, a positive optimal barrier yields generator-domain membership and (Γ−q)vcstar=0 at every strictly interior reserve. At a zero scale normalisation the barrier value is identically zero below the barrier. At a nonzero normalisation, the newly established unconditional BV q-scale harmonicity transfers through the exact below-barrier generator congruence. No additional Laplace-residual hypothesis is assumed.
