Let uuu be a candidate: u≠0u \neq 0u=0 with ∣u∣|u|∣u∣ and eue^{u}eu algebraic. If u=a+bℓu = a + b\ellu=a+bℓ with a,ba, ba,b algebraic and ℓ\ellℓ a logarithm of an algebraic number, then u=rℓu = r\ellu=rℓ for some r∈Qr \in \mathbb{Q}r∈Q; and u≠a+bπu \neq a + b\piu=a+bπ for all algebraic a,ba, ba,b.

This is DiazModulus.candidate_one_log_saturation with both of its hypotheses discharged: Baker's theorem for two logarithms by DiazModulus.baker_two_logs, proved in this mission following Chapter 4 of Waldschmidt's book, and Hermite–Lindemann by DiazModulus.hermite_lindemann_holds.

Proof. DiazModulus.candidate_one_log_saturation DiazModulus.baker_two_logs DiazModulus.hermite_lindemann_holds.

Novelty. Nothing beyond the parent node; its page gives the argument and the attribution.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
