Let GGG be a group whose identity is eee. Let XXX be a set. Let ∗:G×S→S*: G \times S \to S∗:G×S→S be a group action. Let RG\mathcal R_GRG be the relation induced by GGG, that is xRGy  ⟺  y∈\Orbxx \mathrel {\mathcal R_G} y \iff y \in \Orb xxRGy⟺y∈\Orbx where \Orbx\Orb x\Orbx denotes the orbit of x∈Xx \in Xx∈X. Then RG\mathcal R_GRG is an equivalence relation. The equivalence class of an element is its orbit.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
