Shifted Lévy increments preserve every strict lower threshold crossing on a right interval

Proved
AvramDividend.Classical.levy_shiftedLower_strictCrossing_rightInterval

by WillR · Oct 25, 2026 · Mathlib 0df444a (Lean v4.33.1)

For each Lévy sample path, any nonnegative time shift u and a strict downward crossing of the increment X(u+s)-X(u), the crossing remains strict over a nonempty interval to the right of s. This supplies the hypothesis for the generic exact lower first-passage clock on shifted paths.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
