matrix-multiplication

Let RRR be a graded logarithmic joint recipe (LogJointRecipeG) on NNN fine positions at level ℓ\ellℓ whose source predicate is PPP. If P′P'P′ is any predicate with P⊆P′P \subseteq P'P⊆P′, that is, Pi(x)⇒Pi′(x)P_i(x)\Rightarrow P'_i(x)Pi(x)⇒Pi′(x) for every mode iii and every fine word xxx, then there is a recipe R′R'R′ with source predicate P′P'P′ and the same bookkeeping:

inputs⁡(R′)=inputs⁡(R),logOutputs⁡(R′)=logOutputs⁡(R),dim⁡(R′)=dim⁡(R).\operatorname{inputs}(R')=\operatorname{inputs}(R),\qquad \operatorname{logOutputs}(R')=\operatorname{logOutputs}(R),\qquad \dim(R')=\dim(R).inputs(R′)=inputs(R),logOutputs(R′)=logOutputs(R),dim(R′)=dim(R).

In words, weakening the source constraint never costs anything. The source predicate is used only in the source/inside containment conditions of the outermost stage, partition, boundary end, or integer step; every rate, type count and matrix dimension is unchanged. Rotations and swaps reindex the predicate by a permutation of the three modes, so the weakened predicate is pulled back along the same permutation.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
