Let GGG be a real 4×44\times44×4 matrix which is Lorentzian in the sense of bundle Atlas_Core_Basic (there is EEE with invertible determinant and ETGE=diag(−1,1,1,1)E^{\mathsf T}GE=\mathrm{diag}(-1,1,1,1)ETGE=diag(−1,1,1,1)) and QG(v)=vTGvQ_G(v)=v^{\mathsf T}GvQG(v)=vTGv. Then

sigPos(QG)=3,sigNeg(QG)=1.\mathrm{sigPos}(Q_G)=3,\qquad \mathrm{sigNeg}(Q_G)=1.sigPos(QG)=3,sigNeg(QG)=1.

The four-dimensional instance of the signature bridge, fixing the convention (3,1)(3,1)(3,1) used throughout the atlas; a release target alongside the goal theorem.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
