Prove that for non-negative real numbers a,b,c,d,ea, b, c, d, ea,b,c,d,e, the inequality b4+c4+d4+e4≥4bcdeb^4 + c^4 + d^4 + e^4 \geq 4bcdeb4+c4+d4+e4≥4bcde holds if at least one variable is equal to zero. If all variables are positive, prove that fixing a4+b4+c4+d4+e4a^4 + b^4 + c^4 + d^4 + e^4a4+b4+c4+d4+e4 and 1a+1b+1c+1d+1e\frac{1}{a} + \frac{1}{b} + \frac{1}{c} + \frac{1}{d} + \frac{1}{e}a1+b1+c1+d1+e1 makes the inequality a decreasing function of abcdeabcdeabcde. Show that the inequality is true when four variables are equal to 1 and the fifth variable is aaa by using AM-GM inequality.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
