A tree witness θ\thetaθ defines a total order ≺θ\prec_\theta≺θ on Z\mathbb ZZ (milestone framework). A finite word WWW of integers is SAFE if, for some tree witness θ\thetaθ, the sequence "letters of WWW, then all remaining integers in ≺θ\prec_\theta≺θ-order" has no monotone 4-term AP. "Residue-complete" means it meets all four classes mod 4.

Theorem (no macro class has all-target absorption). Fix B∈NB\in\mathbb NB∈N. Let H\mathcal HH be any class of SAFE, duplicate-free words such that every W∈HW\in\mathcal HW∈H either (base) is not residue-complete or has ∣W∣≤B|W|\le B∣W∣≤B, or (step) is W=QRW=QRW=QR with R≠∅R\neq\emptysetR=∅, Q∈HQ\in\mathcal HQ∈H, and either RRR has a single parity, or QQQ is not residue-complete and every suffix of WWW after a residue-complete prefix has a single parity. Then no nonempty G⊆H\mathcal G\subseteq\mathcal HG⊆H has the property that for every Q∈GQ\in\mathcal GQ∈G and every y∉Qy\notin Qy∈/Q some end-extension QR∈GQR\in\mathcal GQR∈G contains yyy.

This class contains GPT 6 Astra's macro class HB\mathcal H_BHB: start from (0)(0)(0), then apply monochromatic steps, unsaturated mixed steps, or bounded whole-word exceptions ∣W∣≤B|W|\le B∣W∣≤B. Astra's audit puts all current absorption recipes (restricted mod-8/mod-32 absorption, reflection blocks, the HHH certificate, and so on) inside H12\mathcal H_{12}H12. So no invariant family generated by these recipes, or by any fixed finite set of bounded certificates added to them, can produce a 4-AP-free permutation of Z\mathbb ZZ. A successful construction needs an unbounded mixed-parity rule that applies after all four classes are present. Lemma of GPT 6 Astra.
