Let dk=σ−(k)d_k = \sigma_-^{(k)}dk=σ−(k), k=1,…,nk = 1,\dots,nk=1,…,n, be the qubit lowering operators. For every nonzero vector χ\chiχ orthogonal to ∣0n⟩|0^n\rangle∣0n⟩ there is a finite word k1,…,krk_1,\dots,k_rk1,…,kr (a monomial P(χ)=dk1⋯dkrP(\chi) = d_{k_1}\cdots d_{k_r}P(χ)=dk1⋯dkr of the jump operators) such that

⟨0n∣ P(χ) ∣χ⟩≠0.\langle 0^n|\,P(\chi)\,|\chi\rangle \neq 0.⟨0n∣P(χ)∣χ⟩=0.

This is the property that rules out a nonzero subspace invariant under all dkd_kdk and orthogonal to ∣0n⟩|0^n\rangle∣0n⟩, and hence (via Theorem 2) shows that ∣0n⟩|0^n\rangle∣0n⟩ is the unique stationary state of L{dk}\mathcal L_{\{d_k\}}L{dk}.

Formalization Note "∣χ⟩|\chi\rangle∣χ⟩" is a state, so χ≠0\chi\neq 0χ=0 is assumed (the zero vector is orthogonal to everything). The empty word is the identity.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
