Let MMM be a machine and, for n∈Nn\in\mathbb Nn∈N, let SnS_nSn be the set of machines NNN of size ∣N∣=∣M∣|N|=|M|∣N∣=∣M∣ that are nnn-compatible with MMM. Then there is a number n′′n''n′′ such that

∀n>n′′  ∀N∈Sn:[N]≡[M].\forall n>n''\ \ \forall N\in S_n:\quad [N]\equiv[M].∀n>n′′  ∀N∈Sn:[N]≡[M].

Only finitely many machines have size ∣M∣|M|∣M∣, and each one inequivalent to MMM eventually leaves SnS_nSn for good; the statement collects this into a single threshold. It is the step of the proof of Theorem A.2 that lets the simulator's answer stabilise on machines that TTT must treat like MMM.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
