For an element xxx, let Ox={Lxn(x):n≥0}O_x=\{L_x^n(x):n\ge 0\}Ox={Lxn(x):n≥0} be its orbit under the left translation Lx(z)=x⋄zL_x(z)=x\diamond zLx(z)=x⋄z. Assume E677, assume x⋄x≠xx\diamond x\ne xx⋄x=x, and assume that at least two distinct elements lie outside OxO_xOx. If right translation by xxx sends some element of OxO_xOx outside OxO_xOx, prove that xxx has a fixer: there is a yyy such that y⋄x=xy\diamond x=xy⋄x=x. No associativity, commutativity, or identity is assumed.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
