goldbachnumber-theoryprimes

For every even natural number mmm with

6≤m≤4⋅1018,6 \le m \le 4\cdot 10^{18},6≤m≤4⋅1018,

there exist odd primes ppp and qqq with m=p+qm = p + qm=p+q.

This is the odd-prime strengthening of the verified binary Goldbach range. A partition through the prime 222 exists exactly when m−2m - 2m−2 is prime; the Oliveira e Silva–Herzog–Pardi partition data records that no even m≥6m \ge 6m≥6 in the range is forced through 222, so an odd-prime partition always exists. This is the ingredient needed to upgrade ternary representations to all-odd representations.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
