Let XXX be a finite label set, B(X)\mathcal B(X)B(X) its nonempty subsets, and Π(X)\Pi(X)Π(X) its set of partitions. Rational block coefficients are evaluated by the linear map

T:QB(X)⟶QΠ(X),(Tc)(P)=∑B∈PcB.T:\mathbb Q^{\mathcal B(X)}\longrightarrow\mathbb Q^{\Pi(X)},\qquad (Tc)(P)=\sum_{B\in P}c_B.T:QB(X)⟶QΠ(X),(Tc)(P)=B∈P∑cB.

The bundle also defines the coordinate-sum functional L(a)=∑i∈XaiL(a)=\sum_{i\in X}a_iL(a)=∑i∈Xai and the modular potential M(a)B=∑i∈BaiM(a)_B=\sum_{i\in B}a_iM(a)B=∑i∈Bai. Restriction of MMM gives an actual linear equivalence from ker⁡L\ker LkerL to ker⁡T\ker TkerT, with its proved constructor dependencies included. This describes the row relations needed for the rank calculation; the rank theorem itself is separate. Empty label sets are allowed in these definitions, and the equivalence does not assume that the sum functional is nonzero.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
