Let ρ~\widetilde\rhoρ be a level-2 pseudo-density and let i,j,ki,j,ki,j,k be three distinct qubits. At the paper's threshold γ=0.911\gamma=0.911γ=0.911,

vij>0.911⟹vik<13.v_{ij}>0.911\quad\Longrightarrow\quad v_{ik}<\frac13.vij>0.911⟹vik<31.

Thus an edge adjacent to a large edge has a small relaxed value. This is the monogamy fact used to show that large edges form a matching and to bound the remaining edge class.

Formalization Note The proof on p. 22 uses no graph property, so the statement quantifies over any distinct three qubits. The threshold is the paper's decimal 911/1000911/1000911/1000.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
