For every even integer s≥e1000s\ge e^{1000}s≥e1000,

r(s)  ≤  9 C(s) s(log⁡s)2,r(s) \;\le\; 9\,C(s)\,\frac{s}{(\log s)^2},r(s)≤9C(s)(logs)2s,

where r(s)r(s)r(s) counts ordered pairs of odd primes summing to sss and C(s)=∏p∣s(1+p(p−1)2)C(s)=\prod_{p\mid s}\left(1+\frac{p}{(p-1)^2}\right)C(s)=∏p∣s(1+(p−1)2p).

This is the explicit upper-bound-sieve estimate for Goldbach representations, obtained with sieve level z=s/(log⁡s)2z=\sqrt{s}/(\log s)^2z=s/(logs)2.

Formalization Note rrr and CCC are Schnir.r and Schnir.C.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
