This auxiliary module comes from the upstream library LevyStochCalc (https://github.com/cgarryZA/LevyStochCalc) and supplies truncation convergence results rather than new definitions. Let PPP be a probability measure on a measurable space ΩΩΩ, let ννν be a σ-finite measure on a measurable mark space EEE, and let T∈RT∈ℝT∈R; suppose φ:Ω×R×E→Rφ:Ω×ℝ×E→ℝφ:Ω×R×E→R is jointly measurable and its iterated squared integral ∫Ω∫[0,T]∫E∣φ(ω,s,e)∣2 dν(e) ds dP(ω)\int_Ω\int_{[0,T]}\int_E |φ(ω,s,e)|^2\,dν(e)\,ds\,dP(ω)∫Ω∫[0,T]∫E∣φ(ω,s,e)∣2dν(e)dsdP(ω) is strictly less than ∞∞∞, with the integrals valued in [0,∞][0,∞][0,∞] (ENNReal) and dsdsds denoting Lebesgue measure.

The result LevyStochCalc.Poisson.Compensated.truncation_L2_converges states that replacing φφφ by max⁡(−M,min⁡(M,φ))\max(-M,\min(M,φ))max(−M,min(M,φ)), for natural numbers M→∞M→∞M→∞, makes the corresponding iterated squared-error integral tend to zero in [0,∞][0,∞][0,∞]. The result LevyStochCalc.Poisson.Compensated.mark_truncation_L2_converges gives the same convergence for φ1SNφ\mathbf{1}_{S_N}φ1SN, where SN=⋃m<NAmS_N=\bigcup_{m<N}A_mSN=⋃m<NAm and (Am)m∈N(A_m)_{m∈ℕ}(Am)m∈N is any sequence of measurable subsets of EEE whose union is EEE; no finite-measure assumption on these sets is required. The auxiliary results truncation_pointwise_tendsto and truncation_dominated state, respectively, that the squared clipping error for each real value tends to zero and is bounded by the square of that value.
