Lemma 21.7. SOA enjoys the mistake bound MSOA(H)≤Ldim⁡(H)M_{\mathrm{SOA}}(H) \le \operatorname{Ldim}(H)MSOA(H)≤Ldim(H).

With Lemma 21.6 this gives Corollary 21.8: MSOA(H)=Ldim⁡(H)M_{\mathrm{SOA}}(H) = \operatorname{Ldim}(H)MSOA(H)=Ldim(H) and no other algorithm can have MA(H)<Ldim⁡(H)M_A(H) < \operatorname{Ldim}(H)MA(H)<Ldim(H).

/-- **Lemma 21.7** (p. 293). SOA enjoys the mistake bound `M_SOA(H) ≤ Ldim(H)`. With
Lemma 21.6 this is Corollary 21.8: `M_SOA(H) = Ldim(H)` and no algorithm does better. -/

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
