FLT says that for prime ppp and a≢0(modp)a\not\equiv0\pmod{p}a≡0(modp) , then we have ap−1≡1(modp)a^{p-1}\equiv1\pmod{p}ap−1≡1(modp) . Since 10≢0(modp)10\not\equiv0\pmod{p}10≡0(modp) (i.e. 101010 isn't a multiple of 201720172017 ), we have by FLT 102016≡1(mod2017)10^{2016}\equiv1\pmod{2017}102016≡1(mod2017) .

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
