lean-workbookrepaired-variable-declarationssource-checked

Let x,y>0 x,y > 0x,y>0 and t∈(0,1) t\in (0,1)t∈(0,1) . Prove (x+y)t≤xt+yt. (x + y)^t\le x^t + y^t.(x+y)t≤xt+yt.

Source declaration repair: Added the explicit real binder t, as required by the source condition t ∈ (0,1), so all three powers use Real.rpow. The malformed declaration and its possible vacuous natural-number interpretation are not retained. A genuine real-power proof replaces the original tactic attempts.

Source: InternLM Lean-Workbook, record lean_workbook_plus_72873 (Apache-2.0). The original source declaration omits t; this public record supplies its intended real type.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
