finite-staterandomized-ac0sampling

For every nonempty finite Markov chain MMM with arbitrary nonnegative real transition probabilities and normalized initial and transition laws, the family of complete trajectories (X0,…,Xn)(X_0,\ldots,X_n)(X0,…,Xn) has exact randomized AC0\mathrm{AC}^0AC0 samplers of polynomial size in n+1n+1n+1 and depth uniformly bounded independently of nnn if and only if every finite trajectory probability is dyadic. This includes n=0n=0n=0. All random seeds must encode valid trajectories. The condition concerns complete path probabilities, rather than entrywise dyadicity of the original transition matrix.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
