algebrae677finite-magmaperiod-four

Let a finite magma satisfy E677,

z=y⋄(z⋄((y⋄z)⋄y)).z=y\diamond\bigl(z\diamond((y\diamond z)\diamond y)\bigr).z=y⋄(z⋄((y⋄z)⋄y)).

Suppose the left orbit of xxx has exact period four, displayed as

x⟼c1⟼c2⟼c3⟼x,x\longmapsto c_1\longmapsto c_2\longmapsto c_3\longmapsto x,x⟼c1⟼c2⟼c3⟼x,

under Lx(z)=x⋄zL_x(z)=x\diamond zLx(z)=x⋄z, with xxx distinct from c1,c2,c3c_1,c_2,c_3c1,c2,c3. Suppose distinct orbit elements a,ba,ba,b satisfy a⋄x=b⋄xa\diamond x=b\diamond xa⋄x=b⋄x. Then either xxx has a fixer, or the following tagged seven-element growth packet exists.

Put q=c2⋄xq=c_2\diamond xq=c2⋄x, r=c1⋄c2r=c_1\diamond c_2r=c1⋄c2, and s=c3⋄qs=c_3\diamond qs=c3⋄q. The packet retains

q=c3⋄x,c1⋄q=x,c2⋄q=c1,q=c_3\diamond x,\qquad c_1\diamond q=x,\qquad c_2\diamond q=c_1,q=c3⋄x,c1⋄q=x,c2⋄q=c1,

and q∉{x,c1,c2,c3}q\notin\{x,c_1,c_2,c_3\}q∈/{x,c1,c2,c3}. It has one of two branches:

  1. r∉{x,c1,c2,c3,q}r\notin\{x,c_1,c_2,c_3,q\}r∈/{x,c1,c2,c3,q}, and at least one of Lx(q),Lx(r)L_x(q),L_x(r)Lx(q),Lx(r) is outside {x,c1,c2,c3,q,r}\{x,c_1,c_2,c_3,q,r\}{x,c1,c2,c3,q,r}.
  2. r=c1r=c_1r=c1, s∉{x,c1,c2,c3,q}s\notin\{x,c_1,c_2,c_3,q\}s∈/{x,c1,c2,c3,q}, and at least one of Lx(q),Lx(s),c2⋄sL_x(q),L_x(s),c_2\diamond sLx(q),Lx(s),c2⋄s is outside {x,c1,c2,c3,q,s}\{x,c_1,c_2,c_3,q,s\}{x,c1,c2,c3,q,s}.

Thus the conclusion is

a tagged seven-element packetor∃y, y⋄x=x.\text{a tagged seven-element packet}\quad\text{or}\quad\exists y,\ y\diamond x=x.a tagged seven-element packetor∃y, y⋄x=x.

The growth alternative provides seven distinct elements with explicit source terms. It is one finite growth step under an exact period-four collision; it neither iterates the construction nor proves the general finite E677 implication.
