For coordinate metrics g,g^g,\hat gg,g^ on Rn+1\mathbb R^{n+1}Rn+1 and a set U⊆Rn+1U\subseteq\mathbb R^{n+1}U⊆Rn+1, the proposition VacuumCertificate(g,g^,U)\mathrm{VacuumCertificate}(g,\hat g,U)VacuumCertificate(g,g^,U) is the conjunction of eight obligations: (1) UUU is open; (2) UUU is nonempty; (3) gij(x)=gji(x)g_{ij}(x)=g_{ji}(x)gij(x)=gji(x) for all x∈Ux\in Ux∈U; (4) g^(x) g(x)=I\hat g(x)\,g(x)=Ig^(x)g(x)=I for all x∈Ux\in Ux∈U; (5) every gijg_{ij}gij is C∞C^\inftyC∞ on UUU; (6) every g^ij\hat g^{ij}g^ij is C∞C^\inftyC∞ on UUU; (7) g(x)g(x)g(x) is Lorentzian for all x∈Ux\in Ux∈U; (8) Rbd(x)=0R_{bd}(x)=0Rbd(x)=0 for all x∈Ux\in Ux∈U and all b,db,db,d, where RRR is the coordinate Ricci tensor of (g,g^)(g,\hat g)(g,g^) from bundle Atlas_Core_Basic. The data g,g^,Ug,\hat g,Ug,g^,U are supplied independently of any proof, so a certificate is never vacuous by construction.

The acceptance criterion of every row of the atlas; each field is discharged by a separate theorem. Obligation (4) rules out a trivialising wrong inverse, (5)–(6) make every slice derivative in RbdR_{bd}Rbd a genuine derivative.

Formalization Note Definition bundle generated by skeleton subtraction from the source module Atlas.Core.Certificate; declarations: ExactVacuumAtlas.VacuumCertificate. No theorem is proved inside the bundle; it imports only Mathlib and other Definitions.Def_* bundles.

/-! # Vacuum certificate for a coordinate metric on an open domain

`VacuumCertificate g ginv U` packages everything a catalogue row must establish:
open, nonempty domain; symmetric metric; `ginv` a genuine (left, hence two-sided) inverse;
`C^∞` components; Lorentzian signature through an explicit invertible frame; vanishing of all
components of the coordinate Ricci tensor. `g`, `ginv`, `U` are data supplied independently of
any proof, so the certificate is never vacuous by construction.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
