This gives a Bielecki-norm bound for the difference between a Picard step along a bounded process and a Picard step along a raw state process.

Let the Brownian and Poisson drivers, filtrations, coefficients, and regularity assumptions be as in the type. Let ZZZ be measurable and progressively measurable coordinatewise with bieleckiNorm⁡(0,T,Z)<⊤\operatorname{bieleckiNorm}(0,T,Z)<\topbieleckiNorm(0,T,Z)<⊤, let x0x_0x0 be the initial state, let XXX be an SSS-bounded process on [0,T][0,T][0,T], and assume β>0\beta>0β>0 and T>0T>0T>0. Then

bieleckiNorm⁡(β,T,picardStepOnStop⁡(X)−picardStepOnRawStop⁡(Z))≤(ofReal⁡(3(nL2T+ndL2+nL2)2β))1/2bieleckiNorm⁡(β,T,X−Z).\begin{aligned} &\operatorname{bieleckiNorm}\bigl(\beta,T,\operatorname{picardStepOnStop}(X)-\operatorname{picardStepOnRawStop}(Z)\bigr)\\ &\quad\le \left(\operatorname{ofReal}\left(\frac{3(nL^2T+ndL^2+nL^2)}{2\beta}\right)\right)^{1/2} \operatorname{bieleckiNorm}\bigl(\beta,T,X-Z\bigr). \end{aligned}bieleckiNorm(β,T,picardStepOnStop(X)−picardStepOnRawStop(Z))≤(ofReal(2β3(nL2T+ndL2+nL2)))1/2bieleckiNorm(β,T,X−Z).

The Bielecki norms are ENNReal-valued. This is the contraction estimate used to compare the self-map with a raw process.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
