This formalizes the normalized small-quadratic-tilt convergence described in the source module for the regular approximation of Bizeul–Klartag–Lehec (arXiv:2610.05474v1, Section 2, p. 5).

Let EEE be a Borel real normed space, let FFF be a complete real normed space, let μ\muμ be a probability measure on EEE, let f:E→Ff:E\to Ff:E→F be integrable with respect to μ\muμ, and for δ∈R\delta\in\mathbb Rδ∈R define the tilted measure by the weight e−δ∥x∥2/2e^{-\delta\|x\|^2/2}e−δ∥x∥2/2. As δ→0+\delta\to0^+δ→0+,

∫f(x) d(μ.tilted⁡(x↦−δ2∥x∥2))(x)⟶∫f(x) dμ(x).\int f(x)\,d\bigl(\mu.\operatorname{tilted}(x\mapsto-\tfrac\delta2\|x\|^2)\bigr)(x) \longrightarrow \int f(x)\,d\mu(x).∫f(x)d(μ.tilted(x↦−2δ∥x∥2))(x)⟶∫f(x)dμ(x).

The limit is in the norm topology of FFF and is taken through positive δ\deltaδ. Only probability and integrability are assumed; no moment or log-concavity hypothesis is added.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
