This proves progressive measurability for a weighted time window.

Let F\mathcal FF be a filtration, let 0≤a<b0\le a<b0≤a<b, and let V:Ω→RV:\Omega\to\mathbb RV:Ω→R satisfy:

  1. VVV is bounded;
  2. VVV is measurable;
  3. VVV is strongly measurable with respect to Fa\mathcal F_aFa.

Then the process (ω,s)↦V(ω)1(a,b](s)(\omega,s)\mapsto V(\omega)\mathbf 1_{(a,b]}(s)(ω,s)↦V(ω)1(a,b](s) is progressively measurable with respect to F\mathcal FF:

ProgressivelyMeasurable⁡F((ω,s)↦V(ω)1(a,b](s)).\operatorname{ProgressivelyMeasurable}_{\mathcal F}\bigl((\omega,s)\mapsto V(\omega)\mathbf 1_{(a,b]}(s)\bigr).ProgressivelyMeasurableF((ω,s)↦V(ω)1(a,b](s)).

The lemma supplies the measurability condition needed to use a past weight as an Itô-integral integrand.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
