This formalizes the pull-out identity for a bounded weight known at the beginning of a time window.

Let (Ω,A,P)(\Omega,\mathcal A,P)(Ω,A,P) be a probability space, let WWW be a Brownian motion under PPP, and let F\mathcal FF be a filtration for which hℱ states that WWW is Brownian. Let 0≤a<b0\le a<b0≤a<b. Assume:

  1. V:Ω→RV:\Omega\to\mathbb RV:Ω→R is bounded, measurable, and strongly measurable with respect to Fa\mathcal F_aFa.
  2. K:Ω×R→RK:\Omega\times\mathbb R\to\mathbb RK:Ω×R→R is jointly measurable and progressively measurable.
  3. For every T>0T>0T>0, its L2L^2L2 energy is finite in the ENNReal sense:
∫Ω∫[0,T]∥K(ω,s)∥+2 ds dP<⊤.\int_\Omega\int_{[0,T]}\|K(\omega,s)\|_+^2\,ds\,dP<\top.∫Ω∫[0,T]∥K(ω,s)∥+2dsdP<⊤.
  1. The windowed integrand 1(a,b](s)K(ω,s)\mathbf 1_{(a,b]}(s)K(\omega,s)1(a,b](s)K(ω,s) is measurable, progressively measurable, and has finite energy on every positive horizon.
  2. The weighted windowed integrand V(ω)1(a,b](s)K(ω,s)V(\omega)\mathbf 1_{(a,b]}(s)K(\omega,s)V(ω)1(a,b](s)K(ω,s) is likewise measurable, progressively measurable, and has finite energy on every positive horizon.

Then for every t>0t>0t>0, the following equality holds PPP-almost everywhere:

V(ω) It ⁣[1(a,b]K](ω)=It ⁣[V1(a,b]K](ω),V(\omega)\,I_t\!\left[\mathbf 1_{(a,b]}K\right](\omega) = I_t\!\left[V\mathbf 1_{(a,b]}K\right](\omega),V(ω)It[1(a,b]K](ω)=It[V1(a,b]K](ω),

where ItI_tIt denotes stochasticIntegralBrownian.

This is the main reusable pull-out identity for bounded information available before a window.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
