This is an integrability lemma for square-integrable functions under exponential moment assumptions.

Let EEE be a normed real space with a measurable Borel structure, let μ\muμ be a finite measure, and assume that every exponential norm weight is integrable:

∀s∈R,∫es∥x∥ dμ(x)<∞.\forall s\in\mathbb R, \quad \int e^{s\|x\|}\,d\mu(x)<\infty.∀s∈R,∫es∥x∥dμ(x)<∞.

If f:E→Rf:E\to\mathbb Rf:E→R belongs to L2(μ)L^2(\mu)L2(μ) and r∈Rr\in\mathbb Rr∈R, then

∫er∥x∥ ∥f(x)∥ dμ(x)<∞.\int e^{r\|x\|}\,\|f(x)\|\,d\mu(x)<\infty.∫er∥x∥∥f(x)∥dμ(x)<∞.

The hypothesis is MemLp f 2 μ; no inner-product, finite-dimensional, or completeness assumption is required. This result is used to control weighted tilt integrals.
