This auxiliary statement formalizes the Hilbert–Schmidt lower-bound component of Proposition 7.1, p. 28, of Bizeul–Klartag–Lehec (arXiv:2610.05474v1), associated with equation (112).

Let n,N,d∈Nn,N,d\in\mathbb Nn,N,d∈N with N>0N>0N>0 and d≥1d\ge1d≥1, and σ>0\sigma>0σ>0. Let μ\muμ be any measure on E=RnE=\mathbb R^nE=Rn (EuclideanSpace ℝ (Fin n)), f:E→Rf:E\to\mathbb Rf:E→R, and ν\nuν any measure on H=H=H= JointSpace N nN\ nN n, whose coordinate set is Q=Option⁡(Fin⁡N×Fin⁡n)Q=\operatorname{Option}(\operatorname{Fin}N\times\operatorname{Fin}n)Q=Option(FinN×Finn). Denote the coordinate unit vectors by e0e_0e0 and e(i,j)e_{(i,j)}e(i,j), and the standard basis of EEE by bjb_jbj. Write κd+1ν=\kappa_{d+1}^\nu=κd+1ν= cumulant ν (d+1)\nu\ (d+1)ν (d+1) and Tdμf=T_d^\mu f=Tdμf= taylorTensor μ f d\mu\ f\ dμ f d.

Assume, for every I:Fin⁡d→Fin⁡NI:\operatorname{Fin}d\to\operatorname{Fin}NI:Find→FinN and J:Fin⁡d→Fin⁡nJ:\operatorname{Fin}d\to\operatorname{Fin}nJ:Find→Finn,

κd+1ν(e0,e(Ik,Jk):k∈Fin⁡d)={d!σNTdμf(bJk:k∈Fin⁡d),I is constant,0,otherwise.\kappa_{d+1}^\nu(e_0,e_{(I_k,J_k)}:k\in\operatorname{Fin}d)= \begin{cases} \dfrac{d!}{\sigma\sqrt N}T_d^\mu f(b_{J_k}:k\in\operatorname{Fin}d),& I\text{ is constant},\\ 0,&\text{otherwise}. \end{cases}κd+1ν(e0,e(Ik,Jk):k∈Find)=⎩⎨⎧σNd!Tdμf(bJk:k∈Find),0,I is constant,otherwise.

Then, with coord⁡\operatorname{coord}coord denoting coordTensor in the basis (bj)(b_j)(bj),

(d!)2σ2∥coord⁡(Tdμf)∥2≤∑K:Fin⁡d→Q[κd+1ν(e0,eKk:k∈Fin⁡d)]2.\frac{(d!)^2}{\sigma^2}\|\operatorname{coord}(T_d^\mu f)\|^2 \le\sum_{K:\operatorname{Fin}d\to Q}\bigl[\kappa_{d+1}^\nu(e_0,e_{K_k}:k\in\operatorname{Fin}d)\bigr]^2.σ2(d!)2∥coord(Tdμf)∥2≤K:Find→Q∑[κd+1ν(e0,eKk:k∈Find)]2.

This converts the assumed entry identities into a norm lower bound. No probability, integrability, isotropy, or log-concavity hypotheses are imposed on the measures.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
