This gives an integrable domination statement for a compactly supported bounded test.

Let F,η:Rn→RF,\eta:\mathbb R^n\to\mathbb RF,η:Rn→R, let S⊆RnS\subseteq\mathbb R^nS⊆Rn be compact, and let C∈RC\in\mathbb RC∈R. Assume FFF is locally integrable, η\etaη is almost-everywhere strongly measurable, supp⁡(η)⊆S\operatorname{supp}(\eta)\subseteq Ssupp(η)⊆S, and ∥η(x)∥≤C\|\eta(x)\|\le C∥η(x)∥≤C for every xxx. Then

1S(x)C∥F(x)∥\mathbf 1_S(x)C\|F(x)\|1S(x)C∥F(x)∥

is integrable, and for every xxx,

∥F(x)η(x)∥≤1S(x)C∥F(x)∥.\|F(x)\eta(x)\|\le \mathbf 1_S(x)C\|F(x)\|.∥F(x)η(x)∥≤1S(x)C∥F(x)∥.

Consequently x↦F(x)η(x)x\mapsto F(x)\eta(x)x↦F(x)η(x) is integrable with respect to volume measure. The Lean declaration is compact_bounded_test_domination_readable; the hypotheses are pointwise except for the stated a.e. measurability condition.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
