For a Brownian motion WWW, a simple predictable integrand HHH, times s≤ts\le ts≤t, and ω∈Ω\omega\in\Omegaω∈Ω, define the clamped partition point ci=max⁡{s,min⁡{H.partition(i),t}}c_i=\max\{s,\min\{H.\mathrm{partition}(i),t\}\}ci=max{s,min{H.partition(i),t}}. The simple Itô integral satisfies

simpleIntegral(W,H,t,ω)−simpleIntegral(W,H,s,ω)=∑i∈Fin(H.N)H.ξ(i,ω)(Wci+1(ω)−Wci(ω)).\mathrm{simpleIntegral}(W,H,t,\omega)-\mathrm{simpleIntegral}(W,H,s,\omega) =\sum_{i\in\mathrm{Fin}(H.N)}H.\xi(i,\omega)\bigl(W_{c_{i+1}}(\omega)-W_{c_i}(\omega)\bigr).simpleIntegral(W,H,t,ω)−simpleIntegral(W,H,s,ω)=i∈Fin(H.N)∑H.ξ(i,ω)(Wci+1(ω)−Wci(ω)).

The probability assumption on PPP is part of the declaration, although the identity is pointwise. This provides the partition-level representation used in conditional Itô-isometry calculations.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
