Under the finite-dimensional real inner-product-space assumptions on VVV, mollifier n is a smooth compactly supported bump centered at 000 whose inner and outer radii are respectively 1/(2(n+1))1/(2(n+1))1/(2(n+1)) and 1/(n+1)1/(n+1)1/(n+1), for n∈Nn\in\mathbb{N}n∈N; the Haar-measure assumptions are omitted from this definition. For a measurable space VVV, tiltedDensity m U is the real-valued function x↦exp⁡(−U(x))∫exp⁡(−U(y)) dm(y)x\mapsto \frac{\exp(-U(x))}{\int \exp(-U(y))\,dm(y)}x↦∫exp(−U(y))dm(y)exp(−U(x)) associated with a measure mmm on VVV and a potential U:V→RU:V\to\mathbb{R}U:V→R, whenever the displayed denominator is meaningful. These are auxiliary definitions used by the surrounding interior-regularity development.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
