This is an integrability component related to Theorem 2.5 of Letwin (arXiv:2607.24164v1).

Let u,F,f:EuclideanSpace⁡ R (Fin⁡(n))→Ru,F,f:\operatorname{EuclideanSpace}\,\mathbb R\,(\operatorname{Fin}(n))\to\mathbb Ru,F,f:EuclideanSpaceR(Fin(n))→R, let G∈R≥0G\in\mathbb R_{\ge0}G∈R≥0, and assume:

  1. ∇u\nabla u∇u is Lipschitz with constant GGG;
  2. FFF is continuous;
  3. almost everywhere,
det⁡(hessianMatrix⁡(u,x))=eF(x);\det(\operatorname{hessianMatrix}(u,x))=e^{F(x)};det(hessianMatrix(u,x))=eF(x);
  1. fff is measurable and compactly supported;
  2. there is C∈RC\in\mathbb RC∈R with ∥f(x)∥≤C\|f(x)\|\le C∥f(x)∥≤C for every xxx.

Then for every i,ji,ji,j,

x↦(hessianMatrix⁡(u,x)−1)ijf(x)x\mapsto \bigl(\operatorname{hessianMatrix}(u,x)^{-1}\bigr)_{ij}f(x)x↦(hessianMatrix(u,x)−1)ijf(x)

is integrable with respect to volume.

The determinant identity is only assumed almost everywhere, and the conclusion concerns individual inverse-matrix entries rather than a matrix-valued integral.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
