This statement establishes local Lipschitzness of each noise column in the finite-dimensional localization system.

Let n∈Nn\in\mathbb Nn∈N, let μ\muμ be a probability measure on Rn\mathbb R^nRn represented as EuclideanSpace ℝ (Fin n), and assume that its support is compact and that μ\muμ is isotropic. Let k∈Fin⁡(n)k\in\operatorname{Fin}(n)k∈Fin(n). For a localization parameter p=(c,Q)p=(c,Q)p=(c,Q), let noise μ hc p k denote the kkkth noise column, whose first component is the inverse square root of the posterior covariance applied to the kkkth standard basis vector.

Then

p⟼noise⁡(μ,hc,p,k)p\longmapsto \operatorname{noise}(\mu,h_c,p,k)p⟼noise(μ,hc,p,k)

is locally Lipschitz. The conclusion is asserted separately for every coordinate kkk and does not provide a common global Lipschitz constant.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
