L2.const μ c is the real L2(μ)L^2(\mu)L2(μ) element represented almost everywhere by the constant c, and L2.mean μ f is its inner product with the constant-one element. L2.center μ f subtracts the constant equal to this mean, while L2.variance μ f is the NNReal value ∥f−mean⁡μ(f)∥22\|f-\operatorname{mean}_\mu(f)\|_2^2∥f−meanμ(f)∥22. The auxiliary declarations identify the almost-everywhere representative and scalar-multiplication behavior of constants.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
