This is a finite-window existence theorem. Let (Ω,P)(\Omega,P)(Ω,P) be a probability space carrying a ddd-dimensional Brownian motion WWW and a Poisson random measure NNN with mark measure ν\nuν, and let F\mathcal FF be a right-continuous filtration making them Brownian and Poisson. Assume the filtration is ordered at nonpositive times, PPP-null measurable sets are measurable at time 000, and the jump-diffusion coefficients are regular and Lipschitz with some constant LLL. For every initial state x0∈Rnx_0\in\mathbb R^nx0∈Rn and every T>0T>0T>0, there exists a path map Y:R×Ω→RnY:\mathbb R\times\Omega\to\mathbb R^nY:R×Ω→Rn such that

  1. YYY is jointly measurable and each coordinate is progressively measurable;
  2. for PPP-almost every ω\omegaω, t↦Yt(ω)t\mapsto Y_t(\omega)t↦Yt(ω) is right-continuous with a left limit at every real time, coordinatewise on the left;
  3. for every T′>0T'>0T′>0,
∫Ωsup⁡t∈[0,T′]∑i=1n∥Yt(ω)i∥+2 dP<∞;\int_\Omega\sup_{t\in[0,T']}\sum_{i=1}^n\|Y_t(\omega)_i\|_+^2\,dP<\infty;∫Ωt∈[0,T′]supi=1∑n∥Yt(ω)i∥+2dP<∞;
  1. SolvesOn W N ℱ ... x₀ Y T holds.

Thus a càdlàg, progressively measurable solution exists on every positive finite window.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
