This is an auxiliary Grönwall-type estimate for the cutoff Eldan process; the literature register relates it to Theorem 4.1, p. 18, of Bizeul–Klartag–Lehec (arXiv:2610.05474v1).

Let μ\muμ be isotropic with compact support, let ptp_tpt be an IsEldanCutoff process with cutoff γ\gammaγ, and assume:

  1. The filtration and null-set compatibility conditions hold.
  2. K≥0K\geq0K≥0.
  3. For every parameter q=(c,Q)q=(c,Q)q=(c,Q) with QQQ self-adjoint and positive semidefinite,
generator⁡(μ,hc,V)(q)≤KV(q),\operatorname{generator}(\mu,h_c,\mathcal V)(q)\leq K\mathcal V(q),generator(μ,hc,V)(q)≤KV(q),

where V=lyapunov⁡(μ,hc)\mathcal V=\operatorname{lyapunov}(\mu,h_c)V=lyapunov(μ,hc). 4. t≥0t\geq0t≥0.

Then V(pt)\mathcal V(p_t)V(pt) is PPP-integrable and

∫ΩV(pt(ω)) dP(ω)≤V(0)eKt.\int_\Omega \mathcal V(p_t(\omega))\,dP(\omega) \leq \mathcal V(0)e^{Kt}.∫ΩV(pt(ω))dP(ω)≤V(0)eKt.

This estimate is the moment bound used to control the localization process and its tails.

Formalization Note. The generator inequality is assumed only on self-adjoint positive-semidefinite matrix components; no universal bound on KKK is asserted.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
