This theorem gives a continuous modification of the real Itô integral driven by Brownian motion. Let WWW be a Brownian motion with filtration F\mathcal FF, let H:Ω×R→RH:\Omega\times\mathbb R\to\mathbb RH:Ω×R→R be measurable and progressively measurable, and assume its squared norm has finite ENNReal integral on every interval [0,T][0,T][0,T] with T>0T>0T>0. If ∣H(ω,s)∣≤C|H(\omega,s)|\le C∣H(ω,s)∣≤C for all ω,s\omega,sω,s and C≥0C\ge0C≥0, then there exists Y:R→Ω→RY:\mathbb R\to\Omega\to\mathbb RY:R→Ω→R such that

P-a.e. ω,t↦Y(t,ω) is continuous,P\text{-a.e. }\omega,\quad t\mapsto Y(t,\omega)\text{ is continuous},P-a.e. ω,t↦Y(t,ω) is continuous,

and for every t≥0t\ge0t≥0, Y(t)Y(t)Y(t) equals the stochastic integral of HHH up to time ttt almost surely. The result uses the fourth-moment Kolmogorov condition with exponents (p,q)=(4,2)(p,q)=(4,2)(p,q)=(4,2).

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
