This states that the Picard limit is a fixed point of the raw Picard step in Bielecki norm.

Assume the Brownian and Poisson drivers, filtration, coefficient regularity, Lipschitz condition, initial bounded process X0X_0X0, and positive parameters β,T\beta,Tβ,T satisfy the hypotheses in the type. In addition, assume the contraction factor

q=(ofReal⁡(3(nL2T+ndL2+nL2)2β))1/2q=\left(\operatorname{ofReal}\left(\frac{3(nL^2T+ndL^2+nL^2)}{2\beta}\right)\right)^{1/2}q=(ofReal(2β3(nL2T+ndL2+nL2)))1/2

satisfies q<1q<1q<1. Then

bieleckiNorm⁡(β,T,picardStepOnRawStop⁡(picardLimit⁡)−picardLimit⁡)=0.\operatorname{bieleckiNorm}\bigl(\beta,T,\operatorname{picardStepOnRawStop}(\operatorname{picardLimit})-\operatorname{picardLimit}\bigr)=0.bieleckiNorm(β,T,picardStepOnRawStop(picardLimit)−picardLimit)=0.

The conclusion is an exact equality of ENNReal values. Together with the vanishing-norm lemma, it yields almost-everywhere equality of the Picard step and its limit at each time in the window.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
