This is an auxiliary fixed-point statement for a jump-diffusion Picard construction. Let (Ω,P)(\Omega,P)(Ω,P) be a probability space, let EEE carry a sigma-finite measure ν\nuν, let WWW be a ddd-dimensional Brownian motion and NNN a Poisson random measure, and let F′\mathcal F'F′ be a right-continuous filtration for which WWW is Brownian and NNN is Poisson. Assume the filtration is suitably ordered at nonpositive times and that every PPP-null measurable set is measurable at time 000. Let coeffs be regular Lipschitz jump-diffusion coefficients with Lipschitz constant LLL, let x0∈Rnx_0\in\mathbb R^nx0∈Rn, let T>0T>0T>0, let β>0\beta>0β>0, and let X0X_0X0 be an F′\mathcal F'F′-adapted bounded initial process on [0,T][0,T][0,T]. Assume

(ENNReal.ofReal⁡ ⁣(3(nL2T+ndL2+nL2)2β))1/2<1.\left(\operatorname{ENNReal.ofReal}\!\left(\frac{3\bigl(nL^2T+n dL^2+nL^2\bigr)}{2\beta}\right)\right)^{1/2}<1.(ENNReal.ofReal(2β3(nL2T+ndL2+nL2)))1/2<1.

For every t∈[0,T]t\in[0,T]t∈[0,T], the raw self-map applied to the Picard limit agrees almost surely, coordinatewise, with that Picard limit:

∀a.e. ω∼P, ∀i∈Fin⁡(n),X(picardSelfMapRaw⁡(picardLimit⁡),t,ω,i)=X(picardLimit⁡,t,ω,i).\forall^{\mathrm{a.e.}}\,\omega\sim P,\ \forall i\in\operatorname{Fin}(n),\quad X(\operatorname{picardSelfMapRaw}(\operatorname{picardLimit}),t,\omega,i)=X(\operatorname{picardLimit},t,\omega,i).∀a.e.ω∼P, ∀i∈Fin(n),X(picardSelfMapRaw(picardLimit),t,ω,i)=X(picardLimit,t,ω,i).

Here the displayed expressions use the measurable, progressively measurable, and finite-Bielecki-norm witnesses required by the Lean definitions picardLimit and picardSelfMapRaw. The result is a technical realization of the Picard fixed point as a process in the admissible process space.

Formalization Note bieleckiNorm and the contraction factor take values in [0,∞][0,\infty][0,∞] (ENNReal); the almost-everywhere assertion is with respect to the probability measure PPP and is pointwise in time and coordinate.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
