This is Dynkin's identity in a finite-dimensional state space VVV. Let Φ:V≃Fin(N)→R\Phi:V\simeq\mathrm{Fin}(N)\to\mathbb RΦ:V≃Fin(N)→R be a continuous linear equivalence. Assume the coordinate process Φ∘Y\Phi\circ YΦ∘Y is an IsDiffusion with transported drift and noise, while bbb and each σk\sigma_kσk on VVV are continuous and compactly supported; also assume the stated filtration, null-set, and C2C^2C2 hypotheses. For every T≥0T\ge0T≥0, F(YT)F(Y_T)F(YT) is integrable and

E[F(YT)]−F(x0)=E ⁣[∫(0,T]Lb,σF(Ys) ds].\mathbb E[F(Y_T)]-F(x_0) =\mathbb E\!\left[\int_{(0,T]}\mathcal L_{b,\sigma}F(Y_s)\,ds\right].E[F(YT)]−F(x0)=E[∫(0,T]Lb,σF(Ys)ds].

The generator on the right is the coordinate-free diffusionGenerator b σ F; the transported coordinate generator is identified with it by diffusionGenerator_transport_readable.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
