This is a uniform-grid estimate for squared vector Itô-process increments.

Let (Ω,F,P)(\Omega,\mathcal F,P)(Ω,F,P), the ddd-dimensional Brownian motion, coordinate Brownian filtrations, and integrands HmkH_{mk}Hmk satisfy the stated measurability, progressive measurability, finite squared extended-integral, and boundedness assumptions with C≥0C\ge0C≥0. Let the measurable drifts satisfy B≥0B\ge0B≥0 and ∣bm∣≤B|b_m|\le B∣bm∣≤B. For T>0T>0T>0, m≠0m\ne0m=0, and ti=unifGrid⁡(T,m,i)t_i=\operatorname{unifGrid}(T,m,i)ti=unifGrid(T,m,i),

∑i<m∫Ω∥Xti+1−Xti∥2dP≤n(2B2TTm+2d2C2T).\sum_{i<m}\int_\Omega\|X_{t_{i+1}}-X_{t_i}\|^2dP \le n\left(2B^2T\frac{T}{m}+2d^2C^2T\right).i<m∑∫Ω∥Xti+1−Xti∥2dP≤n(2B2TmT+2d2C2T).

This estimate shows that the sum of the second moments over the uniform partition remains bounded and is used in Taylor-remainder arguments.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
