This lemma transfers existence of an exponential norm moment of the suspension joint law to an absolute exponential moment of the observable.

Let n,N∈Nn,N\in\mathbb Nn,N∈N with N>0N>0N>0, let μ\muμ be a probability measure on E=RnE=\mathbb R^nE=Rn (EuclideanSpace ℝ (Fin n)), and let f:E→Rf:E\to\mathbb Rf:E→R be measurable. Let β,r>0\beta,r>0β,r>0, σβ=1+2/β2\sigma_\beta=\sqrt{1+2/\beta^2}σβ=1+2/β2 (sigma), and λ=\lambda=λ= jointLaw μ f β σβ N\mu\ f\ \beta\ \sigma_\beta\ Nμ f β σβ N. This is the law on JointSpace N nN\ nN n of the scalar (N−1/2∑if(Xi)+η)/σβ(N^{-1/2}\sum_i f(X_i)+\eta)/\sigma_\beta(N−1/2∑if(Xi)+η)/σβ and the copies, with independent Laplace noise η\etaη of rate β\betaβ.

Assume p↦er∥p∥p\mapsto e^{r\|p\|}p↦er∥p∥ is integrable under λ\lambdaλ. Then

∃t∈R,t>0 and x↦et∣f(x)∣∈L1(μ).\exists t\in\mathbb R,\quad t>0\ \text{and}\ x\mapsto e^{t|f(x)|}\in L^1(\mu).∃t∈R,t>0 and x↦et∣f(x)∣∈L1(μ).

This is an existence result for a positive rate, useful for local transform regularity. Its conclusion does not prescribe a particular value of ttt.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
