This statement gives Gaussian integration by parts for bounded globally Lipschitz C1C^1C1 tests.

Let n∈Nn\in\mathbb Nn∈N, let s>0s>0s>0, let f:Rn→Rf:\mathbb R^n\to\mathbb Rf:Rn→R be C1C^1C1 and globally Lipschitz with Lipschitz constant represented by L : NNReal, and suppose there is C∈RC\in\mathbb RC∈R such that ∥f(x)∥≤C\|f(x)\|\le C∥f(x)∥≤C for every xxx. For every v∈Rnv\in\mathbb R^nv∈Rn, both functions x↦⟨x,v⟩f(x)x\mapsto\langle x,v\rangle f(x)x↦⟨x,v⟩f(x) and x↦Dvf(x)x\mapsto D_vf(x)x↦Dvf(x) are integrable with respect to gaussianLaw s, and

∫⟨x,v⟩f(x) dγs(x)=(2s)−1∫Dvf(x) dγs(x).\int \langle x,v\rangle f(x)\,d\gamma_s(x) = (2s)^{-1}\int D_vf(x)\,d\gamma_s(x).∫⟨x,v⟩f(x)dγs(x)=(2s)−1∫Dvf(x)dγs(x).

This is the directional Gaussian identity with the exact parameterization used by gaussianLaw s, valid in all finite dimensions including n=0n=0n=0.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
