This is a normalized primal construction for a bounded isotropic source law.

Let EEE be a finite-dimensional real inner-product space with Borel measurable structure, let μ\muμ be an isotropic probability measure, and let L∈[0,∞)L\in[0,\infty)L∈[0,∞). Assume ∥y∥≤L\|y\|\le L∥y∥≤L for μ\muμ-almost every yyy. Then there exist q:E→R‾q:E\to\overline{\mathbb{R}}q:E→R, a∈Ea\in Ea∈E, m∈Rm\in\mathbb{R}m∈R, and ψ:E→R\psi:E\to\mathbb{R}ψ:E→R satisfying all of the finite-conjugate conclusions: qqq is convex, lower semicontinuous, potential-integrable, finite only inside B‾(0,L)\overline{B}(0,L)B(0,L), has a minimum q(a)=mq(a)=mq(a)=m, and m≤qm\le qm≤q. Its conjugate is everywhere finite and obeys

q∗(x)≤L∥x∥−m,q∗(x)=ψ(x).q^*(x)\le L\|x\|-m, \qquad q^*(x)=\psi(x).q∗(x)≤L∥x∥−m,q∗(x)=ψ(x).

In addition,

mass⁡dx(q∗)=1,\operatorname{mass}_{dx}(q^*)=1,massdx(q∗)=1,

ψ\psiψ is convex and LLL-Lipschitz, and ψ\psiψ is continuous. Moreover,

∫e−ψ(x) dx=1,\int e^{-\psi(x)}\,dx=1,∫e−ψ(x)dx=1,

and the corresponding weighted measure is a probability measure. Every potential-integrable competitor fff satisfies

Idx,μ(f)≤Idx,μ(q).I_{dx,\mu}(f)\le I_{dx,\mu}(q).Idx,μ(f)≤Idx,μ(q).

This is a weak normalized convex-Lipschitz primal; it does not assert a gradient pushforward or smoothness beyond the stated continuity.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
