This auxiliary extension statement formalizes a component of Proposition 7.1, p. 28, of Bizeul–Klartag–Lehec (arXiv:2610.05474v1), rather than the full proposition.

Let d,n∈Nd,n\in\mathbb Nd,n∈N, b≥0b\ge0b≥0, and V:Rn→RV:\mathbb R^n\to\mathbb RV:Rn→R. Suppose hV:h_V:hV: RegularPotential V a b′V\ a\ b'V a b′: a,b′>0a,b'>0a,b′>0, VVV is smooth with derivatives of polynomial growth, and aId⁡≤D2V≤b′Id⁡a\operatorname{Id}\le D^2V\le b'\operatorname{Id}aId≤D2V≤b′Id. Let μ=hV.law\mu=h_V.\text{law}μ=hV.law, the normalized e−Ve^{-V}e−V law, and assume it is isotropic (KLS.Isotropic). The Euclidean space is EuclideanSpace ℝ (Fin n).

Write Ad(h)=coord⁡(Tdμh)A_d(h)=\operatorname{coord}(T_d^\mu h)Ad(h)=coord(Tdμh), using taylorTensor and coordTensor in the standard orthonormal basis. Assume that every real-valued g∈C2∩L2(μ)g\in C^2\cap L^2(\mu)g∈C2∩L2(μ) with a globally bounded second Fréchet derivative, ∫g dμ=0\int g\,d\mu=0∫gdμ=0, ∫g2 dμ=1\int g^2\,d\mu=1∫g2dμ=1, and ∫⟨u,x⟩g(x) dμ=0\int\langle u,x\rangle g(x)\,d\mu=0∫⟨u,x⟩g(x)dμ=0 for all uuu, satisfies ∥Ad(g)∥2≤b/(d!)2\|A_d(g)\|^2\le b/(d!)^2∥Ad(g)∥2≤b/(d!)2.

Then every f∈L2(μ)f\in L^2(\mu)f∈L2(μ) with ∫f dμ=0\int f\,d\mu=0∫fdμ=0 and ∫⟨u,x⟩f(x) dμ=0\int\langle u,x\rangle f(x)\,d\mu=0∫⟨u,x⟩f(x)dμ=0 for all uuu satisfies

∥Ad(f)∥2≤b(d!)2(toReal⁡(∥f∥2,μext))2.\|A_d(f)\|^2\le\frac{b}{(d!)^2}\left(\operatorname{toReal}\bigl(\|f\|_{2,\mu}^{\mathrm{ext}}\bigr)\right)^2.∥Ad(f)∥2≤(d!)2b(toReal(∥f∥2,μext))2.

Here the extended norm is eLpNorm, valued in [0,∞][0,\infty][0,∞]. This is a conditional extension from the stated normalized smooth estimate; no cumulant bound or universal KLS bound is asserted. All natural degrees ddd, including 000, are allowed.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
