This bounds the sum of squared noise derivatives of the inverse-covariance trace.

Let μ\muμ be a compactly supported isotropic log-concave probability measure on Rn\mathbb{R}^nRn, assume CumulantBoundCompact 2 8, and let p=(c,Q)p=(c,Q)p=(c,Q) have self-adjoint positive-semidefinite QQQ. Then

∑k(D ⁣[tr⁡(A−1)]p[noise⁡k])2≤8n tr⁡(A(p)−1)2.\sum_k\left(D\!\left[\operatorname{tr}(A^{-1})\right]_p[\operatorname{noise}_k]\right)^2 \le 8n\,\operatorname{tr}(A(p)^{-1})^2.k∑(D[tr(A−1)]p[noisek])2≤8ntr(A(p)−1)2.

The result is a quantitative derivative estimate for the inverse-covariance component of the localization Lyapunov function.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
