This formalizes BKL Corollary 3.7 for one step.

Let VVV be finite-dimensional, let ν=m.tilted(−U)\nu=m\mathbin{.}\mathrm{tilted}(-U)ν=m.tilted(−U) with U∈C2U\in C^2U∈C2 and all exponential moments, and assume CP(ν)≤CC_P(\nu)\le CCP(ν)≤C. Let hhh be a level-kkk field and let d≥1d\ge1d≥1. For every coefficient index array JJJ of length d+1+k+1d+1+k+1d+1+k+1, the symmetrization over the first d+1d+1d+1 Taylor positions of the degree-ddd Taylor field of the centered gradient of the Poisson step equals the scale times the degree-(d+1)(d+1)(d+1) Taylor field of the centered gradient of hhh:

Sd+1Td(∇0(step⁡(h)))=scale⁡(h) Td+1(∇0h).S_{d+1}T_d\bigl(\nabla_0(\operatorname{step}(h))\bigr) =\operatorname{scale}(h)\,T_{d+1}(\nabla_0h).Sd+1Td(∇0(step(h)))=scale(h)Td+1(∇0h).

The two coefficient arrays are identified through the finite-index cast specified in the formal statement.

This identity is the one-step relation iterated in the Taylor recursion.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
