This is an integrability component related to Theorem 2.5 of Letwin (arXiv:2607.24164v1).

Let u,V,w,ηu,V,w,\etau,V,w,η be functions on EuclideanSpace⁡ R (Fin⁡(n))\operatorname{EuclideanSpace}\,\mathbb R\,(\operatorname{Fin}(n))EuclideanSpaceR(Fin(n)). Assume:

  1. uuu is continuous and has Lipschitz gradient;
  2. VVV is C1C^1C1;
  3. x↦−u(x)+V(∇u(x))x\mapsto-u(x)+V(\nabla u(x))x↦−u(x)+V(∇u(x)) is continuous and, almost everywhere, det⁡Hu(x)=e−u(x)+V(∇u(x))\det H_u(x)=e^{-u(x)+V(\nabla u(x))}detHu(x)=e−u(x)+V(∇u(x));
  4. www is continuous with Lipschitz gradient;
  5. η\etaη is C2C^2C2 and compactly supported.

Then each of the following is integrable with respect to volume:

η(tr⁡(Hu−1Hw)−DV(∇u)(∇w))e−u,\eta\left(\operatorname{tr}(H_u^{-1}H_w)-DV(\nabla u)(\nabla w)\right)e^{-u},η(tr(Hu−1Hw)−DV(∇u)(∇w))e−u, w(tr⁡(Hu−1Hη)−DV(∇u)(∇η))e−u,w\left(\operatorname{tr}(H_u^{-1}H_\eta)-DV(\nabla u)(\nabla\eta)\right)e^{-u},w(tr(Hu−1Hη)−DV(∇u)(∇η))e−u,

and

∣η+tr⁡(Hu−1Hη)−DV(∇u)(∇η)∣e−u.\left|\eta+\operatorname{tr}(H_u^{-1}H_\eta)-DV(\nabla u)(\nabla\eta)\right|e^{-u}.η+tr(Hu−1Hη)−DV(∇u)(∇η)e−u.

Here HuH_uHu denotes hessianMatrix u; all determinant hypotheses are a.e. statements. The result establishes integrability needed for weak generator identities, not those identities themselves.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
